Modesto Children's Museum Opens Doors to First Visitors
Plan Your Visit to Stanislaus County’s 12,000 Sq. Ft Hub of Creativity and Learning
Modesto, CA - September 28, 2023 - The Modesto Children's Museum, affectionately known as MoChiMu (MO-CHEE-MOO), is here! Doors open to the public for the first time at 11 am – with many expected to enter a child-sized door enjoyed by kids and kids-at-heart.
“MoChiMu welcomes families to a totally different kind of museum experience,” said Chelsie Webster. “Here, children become the hero of their own stories through climbing, building, creating, growing, and imagining. We’ve nurtured a child-first learning environment that their adults will enjoy, too. We triple dog dare you not to want to join in!”
This play-filled space boasts a seriously cool mission. MoChiMu is dedicated to enriching the lives of Central Valley children by nurturing creativity, critical thinking, and a love for lifelong learning. The two-story interactive space features 10 exhibits, each offering an immersive experience. Every exhibit invites exploration and hands-on learning.
