Museums for All

Modesto Children’s Museum is proud to participate in Museums for All, a national initiative to expand access to museums and cultural institutions to individuals who recieve SNAP benefits.

For families receiving SNAP benefits who wish to take advantage of this program, admission to the Modesto Children’s Museum is $5 per person, including children (ages 1+) and adults. Tickets are available online and pre-purchase is highly recommended.

Please note: In order to purchase or redeem Museums for All admission:

• To purchase or redeem pre-purchased SNAP / EBT admission, an adult member of the visiting party must present a SNAP / EBT card with their name and a matching photo ID.

• One named adult with a SNAP / EBT card may purchase up to six total admission tickets per visit using the SNAP / EBT discount.

• The “Museums for All” program is intended for family visits, and the SNAP / EBT discount applies only to those individuals who reside in the household with the adult named on the SNAP / EBT card.

• “Museums for All” admission program does not apply to Field Trips, Group Visitors, Birthday Parties, or Memberships. Keep in mind, any groups larger than 10 total visitors must be booked as a Group Visit through MoChiMu’s Director of Education, and must pay the museum’s group admission rate. SNAP / EBT discounts do not apply.
